The Land Trust maintains over 80 acres for land conservation. These preserves are publicly accessible open spaces. Habitats include tidal wetlands, coastal upland forest and grassland, traprock ridge, riparian forest and fresh water wetlands. Our goal is to maintain these preserves in their natural state and restore areas degraded by human impact to high quality biologically diverse environments.
During the year, the Land Trust hosts public Education Programs and Stewardship Workdays on the preserves. Upcoming events can be viewed on our Events page or on our Facebook page.
