Coast Quest Shore Program: Ages 6-8
Search for Long Island Sound marine life as we explore the Long Wharf Nature Preserve! Campers in the Sound Explorers shore program spend their day exploring the Long Island Sound coastline, searching for prehistoric horseshoe crabs and discovering oysters and mussels in their natural habitats! Campers play games, sing songs, and get their feet wet while learning about the local ecosystem. Campers focus on topics such as habitats, ecosystems, conservation, watersheds, water pollution, and stewardship of the coastline while having a blast exploring and making new friendships!
All Sessions Run 9am-3pm
To provide more camp spaces for kids in 2018, we are only allowing kids to sign up for a maximum of two weeks of camp - one week of Session 1 and one week of Session 2. Sailing Campers are encouraged to signup for the full two weeks of camp to get more sailing experience. Session 1 and Session 2 teach different educational materials. Your child can start with either Session 1 or Session 2 and can split up the weeks if it better fits your summer schedule.
$250/per one-week session
