07-20-08 Pirate Treasure Hunt Adventure
Another successful educational event at Quinnipiac Meadows Preserve. Led by Two Coyotes Wilderness School leader, Justin Pegnataro, 22 children ages 7-12 along with New Haven Land Trust volunteers enjoyed the sunny exploration of a nature treasure hunt.

Despite the heat over 50 people were in attendance to learn about owls in Connecticut.

10-09-07 New Haven Land Trust Celebrates 25 Years
The New Haven Land Trust celebrated its 25th Anniversary for its protection of open space and establishing urban community vegetable gardens by hosting a gala dinner awarding Attorney General Richard Blumenthal  for his environmental stewardship. The  event was attended by over one hundred guests and was the most successful fund raiser in the history of the Land Trust.

The New Haven Land Trust has launched a new website aimed to increase Land Trust activities in New Haven. The new site features such as: online donations, interactive maps of preserves and vegetable gardens, e-newsletter signup and more.

7-20-2008 The New Haven Land Trust and Two Coyotes Wilderness School invite you to participate in our Pirate Treasure Hunt Adventure on Sunday July 20th.  Explore the Quinnipiac Meadows Preserve and join the search for Captain Kidd's buried pirate treasure.  Who knows what will be found, Gold, Jewels, or other Pirate Booty?  Come prepared for adventure and bring plenty of water.   See flyer for additional details: Pirate Treasure Hunt

Registration Fee: $10 per child

For: Children Ages 7 – 12

Program: Begins at 1:00 ends approx. 3:00

Maximum Enrollment: 25 children
