Schooner Camp: A signature program of the New Haven Land Trust

Schooner Camp brings kids to the coastline to explore, learn, grow, get their feet wet and above all else - have fun! Camp is for youth ages 6-14 with leadership and youth development opportunities for teens. Shore exploration and and Learn to Sail programs engage campers in science-based learning and environmental education through hands-on activities, adventures, crafts, and games! Camp is offered June 24 - August 16, 2019 with a maximum of two weeks per camper. Financial aid is available.

Sound School is a regional vocational aquaculture high school situated in the City Point neighborhood of New Haven. With sweeping views of New Haven Harbor, The Sound School prepares students for college, careers, and life in a maritime-focused environment as a aquaculture/agriculture science and technology education center.
In 2016, Schooner, Inc. and the New Haven Land Trust joined forces to protect and promote the natural and cultural resources of New Haven, Connecticut through access to outdoor environments, conservation, stewardship, and education. Schooner is now a signature program of the New Haven Land Trust focused on connecting kids, coastline and community.
